OhioHealth is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience program. You will partner with emergency management, IT, supply chain, facilities, security, and clinical operations to keep mission-critical functions resilient during disruptions.

The role requires a strong background in BIA, COOP planning, and risk management, with 3–5+ years in related fields. A Bachelor's is required; a Master's is preferred, and healthcare experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business continuity, resilience, emergency management, risk management, healthcare operations, or related field.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs and projects.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Certifications: CBCP/ABCP/CEM/CHEP preferred.

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Business Continuity Program.
  • Collaborate with emergency management to maintain policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
  • Facilitate business continuity steering committees and cross-functional workgroups.
  • Design and support Business Impact Analyses (BIA) across departments.
  • Develop Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs) and recovery plans.
  • Establish Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements; prepare for surveys and audits.

We learn, grow, and achieve more – in our careers and in our communities.Job Description Summary:Responsible for supporting the Senior Director, Physical Safety & Operational Resilience by developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive business continuity and supporting the operational resilience program that ensures the organization's ability to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions. This position works collaboratively across all departments to identify critical functions, assess risks, develop continuity strategies, and strengthen organizational resilience while supporting regulatory compliance and continuity of patient care.The role serves as a subject matter expert for business continuity planning, business impact analysis, continuity of operations (COOP), operational resilience, and recovery planning. The manager coordinates efforts with emergency management, information technology, supply chain, facilities, security, clinical operations, and executive leadership to ensure mission-essential functions remain operational during adverse events.
