Job summary

SRK CONSULTING (U.S.), INC. seeks a Sr Consultant in Reno, NV to support geotechnical exploration and instrumentation activities, embankment fill construction, liner installation, and operational activities at mining sites.

Telecommuting may be permissible per company policies, with on-site reporting when not telecommuting. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field with 8 years of experience, or a Master’s with 6 years of experience in the listed areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 8 years of experience in geotechnical site investigations and characterization reports, design basis reports, and feasibility or detailed design reports.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 6 years of experience in geotechnical site investigations and related reports.
• Telecommuting may be permissible per company policies; when not telecommuting, must report to work site.

Responsibilities

• Support geotechnical exploration and instrumentation activities.
• Assist embankment fill construction at mining sites.
• Assist liner installation and related operations at mining sites.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
• In alternative, employer will accept Master’s in one of above-listed fields & 6 yrs of exp in above-listed skills.
