Job summary

SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. in Reno, NV seeks a Senior Consultant to support geotechnical exploration, instrumentation, embankment and liner projects at mining sites.

You will analyze data, prepare technical memoranda and reports, and review drawings with RFIs and proposals. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 8 years of relevant experience; telecommuting may be allowed per policy, with on-site work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Eight years of progressively responsible geotechnical experience needed.
• Experience preparing technical reports and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret geotechnical data.
• Prepare technical memoranda and formal reports.
• Review engineering drawings and respond to RFIs.
• Develop geotechnical analyses for embankments and earth structures.
• Use SLIDE2, SLOPE/W, AutoCAD and Muck3D; coordinate with teams on site.
