Job summary

Brady Sullivan Properties is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the daily coordination of internal and external teams for an assigned project.

You will manage timelines, budgets, and contracts across all project phases, while coordinating with customers and Brady Sullivan staff to address change orders and issues. Strong interpersonal skills and multitasking ability are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive project management and site superintendent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain poise under pressure.
  • Industry licenses/certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Timberline or Microsoft Project is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily coordination of internal and external teams for assigned project.
  • Develop, monitor and track project timelines to meet completion dates.
  • Develop, monitor and track budgets and contracts for all project phases.
  • Coordinate with customers and Brady Sullivan staff to address change orders and issues.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure on-schedule progress and adherence to safety and legal requirements.
  • Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Review blueprints, job specs, and architectural drawings; manage project files for historical data.

Job description

Brady Sullivan is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager for their new project. This position requires the individual to oversee the daily coordination of internal and external agencies as it relates to the management of an assigned project. Project Manager ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through professional project management and the use of highly developed interpersonal skills. Uses best practices and company procedures to ensure timely completion of project(s) in order to maximize profitability. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of the various trades associated with construction project management: plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and HVAC.
  • Develops, monitors and tracks timelines for all phases of a project in order to meet company established completion date.
  • Develops, monitors and tracks budgets and contracts for all phases of a project in order to meet company established completion date.
  • Coordinates with customers and other Brady Sullivan employees to ensure change orders and/or issues are addressed and handled.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the team to ensure work is on schedule, within budget and complies with technical, safety and legal requirements.
  • Establishes respectful working relationships with subordinates, outside vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Conducts daily walk-through of project(s) site to ensure sub-contractor standards of work are met.
  • Comprehends blueprints, job specifications, proposals, architectural drawings.
  • Maintains job files in order to track project(s) and retrieve historical data when necessary.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive project management AND site superintendent experience. Self-Storage experience is a plus.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Work requires continual education and training in all construction trades as it applies to project management.
  • Ability to resolve conflict in professional, timely manner
  • Must be able to work with multiple priorities.
  • Industry standard licenses and/or certifications a plus.
  • Computer knowledge of MS-Office and experience using industry standard software such as Timberline®, Microsoft Project a plus.
