Job Description

Handle a caseload of claims with varying complexity. Responsibilities include establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, liability determination, medical coordination, litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, fraud detection, and vendor management. Ensure timely reserve analysis and report completion, attend conferences and client meetings, mentor colleagues, and support management. All activities must comply with applicable statutes, guidelines, and best practices. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred.
• 7+ years of claim adjusting experience, preferably in the relevant line of business.
• Extensive litigation experience (7+ years) for lines other than Worker’s Compensation.
• At least 5+ years in Construction Defect or related fields.
• Ability to handle reserve/payment authority of $50,000+.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida Adjuster’s license or relevant jurisdictional license.

Salary range for this position is $69,000 - $130,000, excluding benefits and bonuses. Compensation depends on location, skills, education, and experience.
