Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. seeks an experienced compliance auditor to monitor federal/state regulations, policy directives, and ethics across lines of business.

You will lead audits, coordinate risk assessments, and work with cross-functional teams to remediate findings and report monthly status. The role requires five years in the lab industry with compliance or medical tech background and three years of project management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years in the laboratory industry with a background in compliance, billing or medical technology.
  • 3 years proven project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Compliance Policies and impact of violations.
  • Knowledge of test pricing, CPT coding and reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead auditor responsibilities for assigned audits and coordinate the audit process.
  • Audit specialist for assigned audit protocols and update protocols as needed.
  • Perform Deep-Dive Audits as required.
  • Manage special projects and drive process improvement with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate findings and remediation status with stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsible for proactively monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policy directives and ethical requirements for Quest Diagnostics lines of business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead auditor responsibilities for assigned audits. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the audit process, including risk assessment discussions, communicating with the laboratory/region/function (including opening and closing meetings), directing the audit team through the audit, compiling the preliminary audit report, working with the laboratory/region/function to remediate allfindingsand reporting status updates by the end of each month.
  • Audit specialist for assigned audit protocols. Responsible for performing assigned audit protocols for all scheduled audits in a timely manner and working with the policy guardian(s) and functional owners to evaluate and update audit protocols on an ongoing basis.
  • Deep-Dive Audits. Responsible for the performance of specialized audits as needed.
  • Project Management. Responsible for the performance of special projects as needed.
  • Process Improvement. Responsible for working with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications

Required WorkExperience:

  • A minimum of five years in the laboratory industry with a background in compliance,billingor medical technology
  • 3 years proven project management skills

Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of Compliance Policies and impact of potential violations
  • Knowledge of test pricing, CPT coding and reimbursement processes

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Access, Excel,Wordand Outlook required
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Excellent leadership abilities, integrity, trustworthiness, commitment, resilience, highenergyand motivation

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree B.S. Degree in business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Preferred)
