NinjaHoldings is seeking a Sr. Communications & Email Marketing Associate to own and optimize email, SMS, and push campaigns. You will manage strategy, build/QA, execution, and reporting across customer communications with a data-driven focus.

The role emphasizes segmentation, deliverability, and conversion/retention improvements, requiring strong analytical acumen and ownership mindset in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in email, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in financial services or regulated industries.
• Proficiency with multichannel platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Marketo, or similar automation tools.
• Strong technical skills including HTML/CSS and SQL for querying relational databases.
• Advanced analytical skills to translate data into action and optimize campaigns.
• Experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and journey optimization.
• Experience with project management and prioritizing tasks in shifting environments.
• Comfort with using AI tools to improve workflow and campaign quality.
• Exceptional written communication and strong ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

NinjaHoldings is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Sr. Communications & Email Marketing Associate to develop, execute, and optimize email, SMS, and push campaigns. As the owner of customer communications, you will manage the full lifecycle, including strategy, building and QA, execution, and reporting.

You will use data-driven insights to optimize segmentation, improve deliverability, and maximize customer conversion and retention. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and analytical, with a willingness to take on meaningful ownership and day-to-day autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and execute email, SMS, and push marketing campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
• Support day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to: developing, launching, analyzing and iterating on A/B tests to improve the overall customer experience
• Debug technical issues related to HTML/CSS, journeys, lists, and other aspects of email execution
• Monitor and maintain email deliverability, reduce spam compliants, and improve open and click-through rates
• Build and maintain dashboards to investigate anomalies and monitor and report on performance
• Utilize competitive marketing research and product intelligence to understand the competitive landscape
• Collaborate with our PM and engineering teams to create requirements and assist with the development of marketing-related features

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 4+ years of experience in email, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries
• Proficiency in multichannel marketing platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Marketo, or similar automation tools
• Strong technical skills including knowledge of HTML/CSS and working with SQL for querying relational databases
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actions
• Experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and journey optimization
• Proven experience with project management, including the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting business priorities
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and campaign quality
• Exceptional written communication skills, strong sense of ownership, and attention to detail
