Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer for a hybrid role in Atlanta. You will own and deliver modular data streaming, cloud transformation, serverless solutions, and API product development across critical business apps.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Java Full Stack, Python/Shell scripting, AI tools, and extensive relational database experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive CI/CD, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Java Full Stack development in enterprise environments.
• 7+ years of experience with Python and Shell scripting.
• 7+ years of experience working with AI Agentic Tools and related technologies.
• 7+ years of experience with relational databases including RDS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or MS SQL Server.
• Strong experience with AWS and Serverless Architecture, including cloud transformation/migration and API development.
• Experience developing data APIs, data delivery services, and modular solutions supporting critical business applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support modular solutions for data streaming, cloud transformation/migration, serverless architecture, and API product development.
• Develop data APIs and data delivery services supporting critical operational and analytical applications.
• Create and support data-centric products spanning multiple platforms, technologies, and specializations.
• Analyze technical requirements, identify issues and impacts, and develop creative solutions to overcome technical obstacles.
• Work within automated testing and CI/CD processes while following established developer coding standards and documenting technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience with Java Full Stack development in enterprise environments.
