Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Sr. Cloud Developer in Atlanta, GA for a 12+ month contract. The role requires strong AWS and serverless experience, Java full-stack capabilities, Python scripting, and expertise with AI agentic tools and databases (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server).

You will design modular data streaming solutions, build data APIs, and support data-centric products while collaborating across teams and vendor partners, with CI/CD and automated testing in place.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, serverless architectures and full-stack Java development.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with AI agentic tools and relational databases (RDS/Oracle/Postgres/SQL Server).
• Mobile development experience (iOS/Android) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Immediate need for a talented Sr. Cloud Developer. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA.

Pay Range: $60-$70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop solid and supportable modular designs for data streaming, Cloud transformation/migration, and API product development in support of critical applications
• Develop data APIs and data delivery services that support operational and analytical applications for Client internal business operations, customers and partners
• Creation and support of data-centric products that encompass multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
• Analyze technical information and produce quality software
• Initiate collaboration with teammates
• Offer creative solutions to overcome obstacles
• Work within automated testing and CICD processes
• Be an expert on the products we built
• Document solutions in written and diagram form, and communicate across teams
• Leverage developer coding standards to ensure it meets design goals and business needs
• Identify technical issues, articulate impact and need for prioritization
• Proactive communication to both team and leadership
