Job Description
- Personnel Supervision: Supervises clinic staff, issues warnings, conducts performance appraisals, handles personnel issues, coordinates time reports and leave requests, completes new hire documentation, schedules training, and ensures staff is well equipped.
- Budget Assistance: Assists Clinic Administrator in budget preparation and monitors spending to ensure budget compliance.
- Complaint Management: Manages complaints from patients, staff, physicians, etc., investigates and resolves issues, and tracks complaints systematically.
- Accounts Payable: Codes invoices, maintains documentation, and possesses basic knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding.
- Billing Assistance: Supports billing processes, resolves registration and billing errors, and ensures accurate and timely patient billing and records.
- Supply Maintenance: Orders and tracks clinic supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
- Liaison: Acts as a communication link between HCA, laboratories, radiology, insurance companies, etc., to ensure proper information flow.
- Report Preparation: Runs queries and prepares reports on write-offs, charges, and collections monthly.
- Clinic Assistance: Provides scheduling, referral processing, patient check-in/out, and lab/x-ray requisitions support.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive leadership in inpatient/outpatient clinics.
- Licensure/Certifications: None required.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Management, healthcare policy, Medicaid/Medicare guidelines, staff supervision, communication, and process improvement skills.
