Job Summary:
The Client Engagement Specialist will serve as the primary contact for sales partners and their high-volume clients. They are responsible for managing business relationships and ensuring
e-commerce program success for clients and sales partners. This role supports a variety of client and sales-related needs, from pricing and product presentations to technical program management. They will coordinate with internal departments, provide strategic direction, and maintain high standards of service and performance across multiple client accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients and sales partners.
- Understand and address the needs of sales partners, supporting them through field visits and direct client interaction.
- Lead and manage e-commerce program activities to meet contractual obligations and exceed performance goals.
- Oversee long-term success of the program, from product needs and branding guidelines to ongoing technical requirement, changes and upgrades.
- Conduct or coordinate pricing research, vendor negotiations, and custom presentations to support sales efforts.
- Create or coordinate product decks, mockups, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Assist with strategy, implementation and use of sales tools.
- Contribute to RFPs, sales activities, and departmental projects, fostering new business opportunities.
- Manage inventory across programs as assigned, coordinating both Geiger-financed and customer-owned stock.
- Enter orders as needed. Monitor open orders, handle claims and issues, and maintain records for special commission splits/low-margin agreements.
- Utilize data analysis to monitor account performance, create business reviews, and provide actionable insights, as assigned. Manage and support shipping follow-up and logistics when required.
- Resolve challenges with sales and earnings reports.
- Serve as a liaison with specialist departments to meet client and program requirements, supporting marketing plans, billing, and receivable functions.
- Educate sales partners and clients on processes, program guidelines, and compliance with product safety laws.
- Coverage for colleagues when needed.
- Participate in department committees, task groups, and training initiatives to stay current with industry trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge and proficiency in math, writing, public speaking, and computer usage equivalent to 4 years of college education.
- 3 years of related experience in client relationship management and/or senior account management.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive business insights.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of billing and receivable functions, inventory management, and compliance.
- Proven skill in client relations and program management.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer.
- Typing and using a computer keyboard for extended periods.
- Answering phone and video calls and communicating with customers via email.
- Travel to client sites or sales partner locations to support program needs and foster relationship-building.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively.
Environmental Requirements:
- Working indoors in an office environment or remote location.
- Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
- Interaction with team members and possibly occasional interactions with customers in person, via phone, video communications or email.
Certification Requirements:
- Industry certification at the MAS (Master Advertising Specialist) level.
