Viewed as a key senior leader within Auxo’s technology consulting business, the Sr. Client Director drives meaningful commercial success by creating trusted relationships with clients, actively pursuing work at accounts, creating leads, and ensuring successful project delivery through partnership with the Delivery Organization. As part of the Client Partnership team, the Sr. Client Director - Financial Services will contribute to setting business direction, strategy, and priorities and take ownership for driving the overall growth and scalability of the financial services line of business.

What you'll do

  • Lead business and market development efforts including identifying opportunities, developing relationships, scoping prospective engagements, and developing proposals.
  • Provide methodological guidance, oversight and program delivery for financial services initiatives.
  • Provide leadership to Client Partnership and Delivery teams; mentor junior staff.
  • Build positive working relationships with customers, consulting staff, managers, leadership, and internal support teams.
  • Develop and lead, independently, a large customer book of business.
  • Support the development of a growing healthy Advisory Group and overall Consulting business unit, above and beyond individual contributions of sales and book of business.
  • Achieve a billable utilization and sales targets, while collaborating with others to attain overall business objectives and metrics.

How do you know if you're a fit?

  • You've held roles of increasing responsibility across Financial Services, becoming a SME in Retirement Services / Wealth Management specifically AND.
  • You've held a leadership position at a software development or consulting company, focusing on delivering custom software solutions / Fintech solutions to Financial Services companies.
  • You have a strong understanding of the SDLC.
  • You've overseen software development delivery on a project-level.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of management / strategy or technology consulting experience focused on financial services and/or fintech.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, client management, and project management skills, along with a strong business development track record.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives.
  • Known authority in Retirement Services / Wealth Management; able to leverage external network to improve profitable revenues and market positioning.
  • Demonstrated excellence in successfully selling, delivering and growing a consulting book of business.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required (to client sites).

The pay range for this role is:

185,000 - 230,000 USD per year (Remote (US))
