What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Document claims files by accurately capturing and updating claims data and information
- Exercise judgment to determine liability and analyze relevant facts in claims
- Develop case strategy and evaluation for timely resolution of claims
- Establish timely reserves and perform ongoing reviews throughout the claims cycle
- Negotiate settlements by establishing appropriate strategies within authority limits

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management, or Juris Doctor with 2 or more years of experience, or equivalent experience
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
- High School Diploma Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ years of experience handling high severity Workers’ Compensation claims
- 6+ years of experience in litigation management
- Jurisdiction expertise handling the state of Nevada
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
