Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and prepare deliverables for site/civil development projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Utilize organizational skills to track project progress and communicate updates.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for solar and EV projects nationwide.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate permits, approvals, and project documentation.
• Assist in proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Maintain positive client relationships and ensure satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license is required.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD software.
• Experience in stormwater management and erosion control.
• At least 6 years in site civil engineering, preferably with solar projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of local regulations in Maryland and Washington, DC.
• Understanding of construction practices and materials.
