Impact XM is a leader in creating innovative solutions for both virtual and live events. We are seeking a talented Environmental Designer for a remote, full-time position. An Environmental Designer provides creative solutions for meeting client needs and objectives using exhibits and exhibit-related projects as a sales and marketing tool. Be involved with projects from beginning to end based on your ability to understand the sales process, production operations, and the value of the product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design environments across various brands and industries
2. Provide design and visualization support to design team leads
3. Manage several projects simultaneously
4. Create photorealistic renderings
5. Present concepts clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders
6. Be responsible, organized, and accountable for your work and deadlines
7. Take direction effectively
8. Understand materials and building techniques
9. Read and interpret construction drawings
10. Translate feedback into actionable work
11. Collaborate within the Creative department and across the organization
12. Communicate with clarity, confidence, professionalism, and authenticity
13. Stay current with design trends and apply relevant ones to your work

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

1. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Industrial Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or a related field; 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
2. Knowledge of 3ds Max, Vray, Adobe Creative Suite; Unreal Engine experience is a plus
3. Passionate about working with people and customer-centric
4. Experience in event marketing or a creative solutions-based agency
5. Entrepreneurial and independent mindset
6. Flexible, open-minded, and receptive to new ideas
7. Proactive in finding solutions
8. Effective communication skills, including presentation, written documentation, and client rapport
9. Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
