Job summary

Innova Solutions (Charlotte, NC) is seeking a Sr Cisco UC Engineer for an 18-month contract in a primarily onsite role (3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC). The engineer will design, support, and automate enterprise Cisco Unified Communications environments, including CUCM and Unity Connection, SIP/VoIP infrastructure, and voice routing across large-scale production environments.

The role requires deep expertise in CUCM, Unity Connection, SIP, and related voice protocols, with preferred automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications environments.
• Proven experience managing CUCM, Unity Connection, SIP infrastructure, and enterprise voice services.

Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Sr Cisco UC Engineer.

Position type: Contract Duration: 18 Months Location: Charlotte North Carolina (3 Days Onsite)

As a Sr Cisco UC Engineer, you will design, support, and automate enterprise Cisco Unified Communications environments including CUCM, Unity Connection, SIP/VoIP infrastructure, global dial plans, voice routing, platform integrations, and voice transformation initiatives across large-scale production environments.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unity Connection.
• Strong knowledge of SIP and VoIP technologies.
• Experience with PSTN connectivity and session management.
• Experience administering large-scale enterprise voice environments.
• Hands-on experience with voice troubleshooting, call routing, dial plans, and SIP call flows.
• Strong understanding of SIP, H.323, and MGCP protocols.
• Experience with Cisco CUBE and Voice Gateways.
• Knowledge of Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
• Experience supporting high-availability voice platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or other automation technologies.
• Experience leveraging Cisco AXL APIs, RIS APIs, Serviceability APIs, and SOAP/REST interfaces.
• Experience developing automation solutions for user provisioning and phone deployments.
• Experience with compliance reporting, inventory reconciliation, and license management automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone and Direct Routing.
• Experience with Cisco Webex Calling and Webex Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications environments.
• Proven experience managing CUCM, Unity Connection, SIP infrastructure, and enterprise voice services.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $65/hr - $70/hr on W2.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
