Innova Solutions is hiring a Network Automation Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. The role focuses on designing and producing AI-powered network automation solutions using Python, REST APIs, and ML techniques to enable intelligent event correlation and self-healing remediation.

The candidate will work on production-ready AI/ML-enabled automation, integrate with observability platforms, and ensure scalable pipelines for enterprise networks. Strong Python and Django experience is required.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Network Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with Python development and backend automation.
• Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled automation in production environments.
• Experience building backend services with Django or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking (Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-WAN).
• Familiar with observability data, metrics, logs, traces and topology datasets.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Position Details

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Network Automation Engineer. Position type: Contract Duration: 18 Months Location: Jersey City New Jersey (3 Days Onsite)

As a Network Automation Engineer, you will : Design, develop, and productionize AI-powered network automation solutions using Python, REST APIs, machine learning, and observability platforms to enable intelligent event correlation, self healing remediation, predictive analytics, and AI-assisted troubleshooting across enterprise networks.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong experience with Python development and backend automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience building backend services using Django or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Redis or equivalent in-memory databases for caching and state management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including Routing, Switching, Wireless, and SD-WAN.
• Experience integrating automation with monitoring, telemetry, alerting, and observability platforms.
• Experience designing event-driven automation and intelligent troubleshooting workflows.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning concepts including anomaly detection, classification, clustering, forecasting, and time-series analysis.
• Experience with Python ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience building AI/ML-enabled solutions in production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with MLflow or equivalent model lifecycle management platforms.
• Experience with vector databases and enterprise search platforms.
• Experience implementing self-healing automation and automated remediation solutions.
• Experience with event correlation, decision-engine workflows, and rule-based automation.
• Familiarity with observability data including metrics, logs, events, traces, and topology datasets.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, Network Automation, Telemetry, Monitoring, Data Engineering, or Applied Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML-enabled automation solutions into production environments.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $70/hr - $72/hr on W2. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
