Responsibilities

• Design analog and mixed-signal circuitry for automated test equipment.
• Lead concept-through-production hardware development.
• Design and validate board-level analog and digital circuitry.
• Perform circuit simulations and analysis using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with PCB layout teams to optimize board performance.
• Analyze and resolve customer-reported hardware issues via root-cause analysis.
• Develop solutions to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Evaluate and mitigate power, noise, signal integrity, crosstalk, and thermal concerns.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Job description

• 12+ years of experience as a Circuit Design Engineer – designing both analog and digital board-level circuitry
• Expertise in Op-amp based circuit design, Signal conditioning, Filters, Stability and compensation networks & Control loop design
• PCB layout experience with ability to guide CAD/layout personnel and mitigating noise and crosstalk on multilayer PCBs
• Experience with high-power signal delivery methods and switching power supply design
• Knowledge of thermal and mechanical fundamentals
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE, ADS, and/or Ansys

Plusses:

• Automated Test Equipment (ATE) industry experience
• Experience supporting products from concept through production
• Customer issue investigation and root cause analysis experience
• Experience driving design, test, and operational improvements
• Exposure to global engineering organizations and cross-functional development teams
