This Sr. Process Technician position is a fully onsite D1 (Day Shift) AWS schedule covering processes & equipment in buildings 970 & 973. This is a 12-hour shift schedule working approximately 7am - 7pm, with some weekends required. The Fab9 Contamination Free Manufacturing (CFM) module is seeking a motivated Sr. CFM Process Technician to become part of our 200mm Fabricator team in Essex Junction, VT. This position is required to sustain and improve defect detection processes and equipment on the factory floor. The primary functions of this role are to provide tactical support to the manufacturing line, build inspection tool recipes, and perform standard work to set up measurements and review defects for issue detection.Essential Responsibilities:Identify and assess process issues with defect inspection toolsExecute standard work to write defect inspection recipesManage hold lots needing inspectionExecute standard work for initial dispositioning of lots that flag defect limitsProactively support the pursuit of defect signal detection and work with engineering in determining the sourceRun tools including quals if needed in periods of low Mfg staffingCoordinate information exchange and build working relationship with manager and co-workers to accomplish work steps and to solve problemsCommunicate and collaborate with co-workers within and outside the departmentOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programsOher duties as assigned by manager / supervisorRequired Qualifications:Education - High School diploma or equivalentExperience – minimum 3-4 years' of relevant technical experience / equivalent military experienceFluency in English Language - both Written & VerbalWork in a clean room environment wearing gloves, other Personal Protective Equipment, including a clean room suitPhysical Capacity Demands - 12-hour Alternate Work Schedule (Days), primarily in the cleanroom environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong planning & organizational skillsFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing processes & activities (ex: 5S, structured problem solving, value stream mapping, Kaizen teams, Training within Industry, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Education - 2 Year Associates Degree in Engineering or related Technical DisciplineApplied, working knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodologies & systemsDemonstrated ability to lead projects, taking initiative to drive solutions to problemsExpected Salary Range$48,200.00 - $83,200.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.The role you are applying for may require you to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during your employment.
