Job Description

AbbVie is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Campus Recruiter (6-month contract) to join our team and play a vital role in recruiting and building the leaders of tomorrow. As the Sr. Campus Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle recruitment of graduate students joining AbbVie's programs, including internships, fellowships, postdocs, and early talent development and full-time programs within R&D and Operations. You will collaborate with universities and organizations to position AbbVie as an employer of choice for early talent opportunities. This role operates within AbbVie's hybrid model, with three days per week in Lake County, IL, and requires 30% domestic travel to partner universities during peak recruiting season (Aug-Oct).

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end campus recruitment for key graduate programs in R&D and Operations, including internships, fellowships, postdocs, and early talent development
• Develop and implement campus recruiting strategies in collaboration with the Manager of Early Talent Pipeline, Program Managers, and business units
• Build and maintain relationships with university staff and student organizations to enhance AbbVie's employment brand
• Plan, coordinate, and lead logistical aspects of on-campus and virtual recruiting events
• Act as the primary contact for candidates, providing updates and managing the interview and offer process
• Utilize talent acquisition software and tools to streamline recruitment activities
• Leverage data and market intelligence to educate the business on early talent trends
• Facilitate internal recruiting update meetings with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 3-5 years of recruitment experience, campus recruitment preferred
• Experience recruiting for R&D and Operations/Manufacturing functions is a plus
• Proficiency in ATS, CRM, and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically during peak season
• Ability to work within a hybrid work model in Lake County, IL
