Job Summary

Accountable for supporting site direct and indirect procurement team. Responsible for commodity strategies, LTA, cost reduction activities, supplier scorecards, mentoring Jr. Buyers, Review and write SOW and own RFQ and analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commodity strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, quality, delivery, market analysis and global trends then use the competitive analysis to develop cost reduction initiatives to execute upon
• Identifying strategic issues and develop supporting plans / tactics with strong analytics
• Responsible for supplier risk assessments including completing capacity analysis & rate readiness assessments for key / critical suppliers
• Execute & Negotiate Long-Term Agreements with Key / Critical Suppliers by owning the RFQ and analysis
• Complete regular business reviews and update supplier scorecards to track to monitor supplier performance
• Provides leadership and strategic direction over procurement functions; including being path of escalation for shortages and supporting standardization of work processes
• Embracing the Company’s cultural shift to empower and inspire teams, role model in working horizontally and leading by influence

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science or related disciplines; Will consider 15 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Seven (7) years minimum experience in Procurement role
• Four(4) years experience specific to Strategic Sourcing executing contract negotiations.
• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma and / or Lean Tools
• Advanced negotiation skills; able to structure agreements for purchased services, products and equipment independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence / attain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond rapidly to changing priorities
• Able to think strategically and analytically to drive decision making process
