As part of US Commercial organization, this roleis responsible forexecution of Market Access datastrategiesacross Immunology, Neuroscience&Specialty portfolio,workingincollaboration withleadersfromBrand Marketing,Market Access Strategy,Digital Lab, Internal Agency,Analytics,and external partners.Support the strategic and tactical needs of Market Access organization, proactively seekingout strategic business opportunitiesandprovidingadvice,assistanceand leadership in areasassociated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance and effective business use of payer and health systeminformation systems.Lead ateam ofproject managers, BSCsandBSAs toanalyze business processes; elicit,analyze,and document business requirements;test andvalidatesolutionenhancements;identifyalternative solutions, assessfeasibility,and makerecommendations typicallyseekingto exploit andleveragenew or existing technology components.


Responsibilities:



  • Works with business unitpartnersto understand specific business processes,business drivers and business strategy across Market access functions; identifies and communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via technology; investigates and understands capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across the business area and similar and interconnected business areas in AbbVie and investigates available technologies.

  • Identifiesinformationrequiredto support the Market Access business strategy andleadsthe development ofappropriate informationmanagement strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.Identifies, proposes,initiates,and leads significant improvement programs across multiple business areasestablishingrequirements for the implementation of significant changes in business functions and processes, organizational roles and responsibilities and scope or nature of technology.

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing technology capabilities (across multiple Market access business areas) with high-level business unit executives providing key opinion-leading clients with comprehensive strategic analyses and insights to help them discover strategic uses of technology products and services.

  • Establish andmaintainhigh-quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners.Develop business relationships and integrate activities withBrand,Market Access, Patientservices,and Finance partners to ensure successful implementation, effectivecommunication,and support of project efforts.

  • Responsible for review and approval of data specifications, solution architecture, process flows and data sharing with AbbVie internal Privacy, Compliance & OEC teams. Drives coordination from AbbVie side with respect to gettingtimelyreviews and approvals from external partners.

  • Brokers services within BTS on behalf of customers; coordinates portfolio of solutions and identifies interdependencies.Allies with other BTOsto remaincurrent on project status and inform customer management of progress; conversely, keeps BTS managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.Identifiesthe impact of any relevant statutory,internal,or external regulations on the organization's use of information.

  • Be able to work independently with external stakeholders to manage Third Party agreements, Supplier evaluation and Compliance with AbbVie data policiesand financialprocesses. Responsible for data contracting andworkingwith Legal and Purchasing organizations tofinalizethese contracts with Datasuppliers, Analyticpartners,andvendorpartners.

  • Has defined authority and responsibility for Market Accessapplicationsand relatedPayer&Health systemdata and vendor partnerships, including technical,financial,and quality aspects. Establishes organizationalobjectivesand delegates assignments. Accountable for actions and decisions taken by self and subordinates.

  • Accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed business process improvements and the technical solution to the business needs and the information upon which the business justification and prioritization decisions are made.Support trainingon data products owned byteam.

  • Responsible for learning best practices ofmarket access, formulary& claimsdata,payer spineprocessing,data integration, aggregation, reporting and data quality monitoring and proposing ideasto streamline and improve existingprocesses and framework.

  • Experience with Data Lake architecture,bigdatatechnologies,and tools,

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare business andutilizethe knowledge in the rapid advancement of agile, impactful, and cost-effective solutions

  • Experience working withMarketAccess organization is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of data management disciplines including Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Visualization, Advanced Analytics, Big Data Platforms/Elastic Scale, ArtificialIntelligence,and other data centric technologies.


Preferred:



  • Experience workingwithpatientlevel data like SHA PTD, IMSAPLD,and plan formulary data like MMIT.
