THE ROLE

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst Lead to translate complex business needs into clear

requirements, controls, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring senior-level business systems analysis expertise, strong leadership across Agile delivery, and proven success in user acceptance testing (UAT) and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. You will collaborate with engineering teams, business partners, QA, and product leadership to ensure seamless implementation, robust controls, and accurate data outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the elicitation, analysis, and translation of complex business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment across business teams, product management, and technical delivery partners.

Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy, execution, and defect resolution processes to ensure high-quality software releases.

Apply working knowledge of SQL to perform data validation, including complex joins, aggregations, and data reconciliations.

Establish and enforce controls and governance frameworks to guarantee consistent, accurate reporting and data outcomes.

Facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies, guiding teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution definitions.

Identify risks, dependencies, and process bottlenecks, proactively driving solutions to align with business objectives.

Collaborate with data and analytics engineering teams to validate data pipelines and reporting solutions against business rules.

Define metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and business impact.

Provide ongoing operational support, root-cause analysis, and business systems optimization post-deployment.

WHAT YOU BRING

Must Haves

• Senior-level experience (8+ years) in Business Systems Analysis leading complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
• Proven expertise in translating intricate business needs into clear requirements, process flows, controls, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong leadership experience across Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Demonstrated track record of orchestrating UAT execution, end-to-end testing oversight, and defect management.
• Hands-on working knowledge of SQL for data validation, including multi-table joins, aggregations, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to align diverse, cross-functional business and technical stakeholders around strategic goals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to data accuracy and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical leaders.

Good to Have

• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or Payments domains.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and modern reporting/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance, and control testing standards.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar enterprise Agile management tools.
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA.
