Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Sr Business Process Analyst to drive global process excellence across the supply chain by designing, streamlining, and implementing efficient processes. You will lead cross-functional teams, train users, maintain libraries, and influence stakeholders to adopt new processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 8 years’ experience, 3+ years in supply chain, SAP expertise, and strong Excel/UAT skills, with on-site work at The Woodlands, TX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years equivalent work experience in the assigned functional area.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • 2+ years SAP experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, charts, graphs).
  • Experience leading training classes and performing UAT.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional teams on process improvement through design, testing and implementation of systems and process changes.
  • Develop and facilitate employee training on systems and processes including power user networks.
  • Maintain training library and ensure materials stay current with process changes.
  • Influence stakeholders to ensure process adoption across the organization.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for end users with process or systems issues.
  • Investigate root causes of issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Use reports to monitor process compliance and coach stakeholders.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed.

Primary Purpose: The Sr Business Process Analyst is responsible for driving global process excellence throughout the supply chain by developing, streamlining and implementing efficient and effective processes to support our business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead small cross functional teams to work on process improvement opportunities by participating in the design, testing and implementation of all systems and process changes.
  • Develop and facilitates employee training on systems and processes including development and support of the power user networks.
  • Maintain the training library ensuring all training materials stay current with business process changes and systems enhancements.
  • Influence stakeholders in all levels of the organization to ensure process adoption
  • Provide Tier 2 support to all end users needing help with process or systems issues that cannot be resolved by the Power User Network.
  • Solve complex problems by seeking the root cause of the issue to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Utilize reports to monitor process compliance and provide performance coaching to stakeholders as needed.
  • Miscellaneous tasks and projects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years equivalent work experience in assigned functional area.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • 2+ years SAP experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, charts, graphs).
  • Experience leading small and large training classes.
  • Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
