Job summary

LaSalle Network in Chicago seeks a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst (Financial) to transform ambiguous questions into data-driven decisions.

You will own end-to-end BI projects, from requirements gathering to data modeling, dashboarding and reporting for finance and operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data analytics, strong SQL, data modeling and Excel, plus experience with Tableau or Power BI.

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst (Financial) to join a collaborative team in Chicago. This is a high-impact Business Intelligence role for an experienced analyst who can take an ambiguous business question, figure out what needs to be done, and drive the work from requirements gathering through analysis, data modeling and reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, partnering with stakeholders and turning data into decisions. Healthcare experience is highly valued, and candidates with strong BI and analytics backgrounds outside of healthcare are encouraged to apply.

What's the job?

• Partner with business and technical teams to translate business questions into analytical requirements, KPIs and reporting solutions
• Analyze complex data sets across multiple sources using SQL and advanced Excel
• Develop data models and enterprise dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or similar BI tools
• Build, maintain and enhance reporting products for financial and operational needs
• Validate, reconcile and QA data while applying established business rules and definitions
• Identify gaps, problems and opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Independently manage projects, priorities, timelines and deliverables

• Mentor junior analysts and serve as a technical and analytical resource for the broader team
