Job summary

LaSalle Network in Chicago seeks a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst (Financial) to transform ambiguous questions into data-driven decisions.

You will own end-to-end BI projects, from requirements gathering to data modeling, dashboarding and reporting for finance and operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data analytics, strong SQL, data modeling and Excel, plus experience with Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or BI.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills.
• Healthcare, financial, reimbursement or clinical/operational data experience preferred.
• Experience with data governance, automation or process improvement is a plus.
• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Compensation: $95,000-$105,000 per year
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k
• Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Responsibilities

• Partner with business/technical teams to translate questions into analytical requirements and KPIs.
• Analyze complex data sets across sources using SQL and Excel.
• Develop data models and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI.
• Build and enhance reporting for financial and operational needs.
• Validate and QA data with established business rules.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Independently manage projects, timelines, and deliverables.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical/analytical support.
