Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a senior BI professional to translate data into actionable insights for operational and business leaders. You will design, build, and optimize BI solutions that drive decisions across supported areas.

Work closely with leadership to understand analytics needs, adopt BI tools, and ensure accurate reporting, dashboards, and data models. This role requires hospital operations familiarity and a strong grasp of KPIs used in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience designing, coding, testing and documenting BI services and dashboards.
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare operations metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, tests and implements BI solutions.
• Creates solutions within the existing BI environment including designing, coding, testing and documenting BI services, apps, semantic layers, metadata, reports, dashboards and portal interfaces.
• Develops stored procedures, reporting design, report modeling, database development, administration and automation of BI solutions.
• Troubleshoots BI tools and systems; performance-tunes applications; may have periodic on-call duties.

Job description

Responsible for turning data into actionable information and insights to drive business and operational decisions in assigned support areas. This role will work closely with operational and business leadership to understand their analytics and business needs and function as a trusted analytics delivery partner to answer pertinent business questions using all available data assets. Enables successful adoption of analytics tools and requires advanced knowledge healthcare operations and the key performance indicators used to support the business.

Job Duties

• Designs, builds, tests and implements BI solutions.
• Responsible for creating solutions within the existing BI environment including: designing, coding, testing and documenting all new or modified BI services, applications, programs, semantic layers, metadata, reports, dashboards and portal interfaces.
• Develops; Stored Procedures, Reporting Design, Report Modeling, Database Development, Administration and automation of BI solutions.
• Troubleshoots BI tools, systems and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary. Potential for periodic on-call duty supporting these applications and services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 5 years related work experience

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
