Overview

The Mission Systems line of business within CAES is recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager to develop and win new business with top-tier Defense Primes, focusing on the military electronic warfare market segments. This is a key growth role reporting directly to the Sr Director of Business Development & Strategy. This full-time position is based in Lansdale, PA, with up to 50% travel. CAES offers hybrid flexibility on office location.

This individual will maintain high standards of business and technical acumen, performance excellence, and integrity. Responsibilities include defining the site’s strategic growth goals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in defense electronics market growth, cross-functional collaboration, and customer and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Generate orders, develop forecasts, and execute capture strategies in target market areas.
  • Partner with Engineering to align technology roadmaps with customer needs and investments.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Business-related field
  • 8+ years leading growth in defense electronics
  • Active US DoD/Secret clearance

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • 13+ years in electronic warfare and related markets
  • Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 defense contractors
  • Expertise in RF/microwave components and systems
  • Experience in program management in military electronic warfare
Salary Range

Business Development Manager IV: $118,702 - $178,052
Business Development Manager V: $157,388 - $243,601
