What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the business continuity planning program and crisis management support 24/7
- Assist in the testing and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, especially during incidents
- Coordinate a comprehensive BCP testing program and recommend enhancements
- Provide subject matter expertise in business continuity tools and methodologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1-3 years of business continuity and/or emergency management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or two years of relevant experience in BC/DR
- Professional certification in BCP/DRP (e.g., ABCP/CBCP) is suggested
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in Business Continuity or Emergency Management
- Experience developing and implementing Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery programs
- Technical knowledge of business continuity planning software and mass communications tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience in relationship management across diverse environments
