Job Description

This role involves analyzing complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insights for decision-making. The analyst identifies trends, constructs forecasts, and develops strategic and tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Responsibilities include creating report specifications, collaborating with clients to customize analyses, participating in management reviews, and working with various types of business data, either internally or externally.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis.
• Interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, transform, and deliver functional requirements and artifacts.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements, cost savings, or revenue enhancements.
• Create Business Requirements Documents, Test Plans, Traceability Matrices, and training materials.
• Participate in all project stages to ensure the final product meets requirements.

Job Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

• 5-7 years of business analysis experience.
• 6+ years in managed care.
• Proficiency in relevant concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to manage escalations independently.
• Proactive communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

• 3-5 years of formal Project Management training.
• Experience with complex technical teams and claims investigation in managed care.
• Background working with providers and operations teams.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Facets, and Excel reporting.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:

CBAP or similar from the International Institute of Business Analysis.

Additional Details

Pay Range: $77,969 - $128,519 annually. Actual pay varies based on location, experience, and skills.
