Overview

McGraw Hill, a leading provider of educational solutions, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Billings & Operations. This role involves revenue tracking, sales compensation, territory analysis, and other critical functions within the Higher Ed Business Unit. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Billing & Operations, the position impacts planning, compensation, and operational strategies for hundreds of colleagues. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and motivated to make a tangible impact.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing distributor files and processing large, time-sensitive data sets.
• Collaborating across Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Calculating incentive compensation for over 400 colleagues accurately and promptly.
• Analyzing sales territories for optimal account distribution and workload balance.
• Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, and others.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred coursework in business, statistics, or technical fields.
• Experience in Sales or Revenue Operations.
• At least 5 years in analytical, reporting, or QA roles.
• Proficiency in Excel; Access, Smartsheet, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual salary range is $65,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and location. Benefits include medical coverage and other perks. Learn more about our benefits offerings.
