Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies, a Beacon Hill Staffing Group division, seeks a system analyst to lead requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation activities in Montpelier, VT. The role involves translating complex tech concepts into business language and collaborating with stakeholders for successful deployments.

The ideal candidate will drive functional specs, user stories, and QA activities, ensuring smooth data migrations and user training during go-live.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements, identifying dependencies, conflicts, and gaps.
• Ability to design functional specs, user stories, and system design documents.
• Hands-on testing experience: functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with system implementation activities, data migration, and user training.
• Strong communication to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for system requirements gathering and analysis, which includes analyzing requirements to identify dependencies, conflicts, and gaps.
• Responsible for system design and documentation, which includes developing functional specifications, user stories, and system design documents.
• Responsible for system testing and quality assurance, which includes conducting system testing, including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• System implementation and support, which includes support system implementation activities, such as data migration, user training, and system golive.
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate effectively, translating technical concepts into business � friendly language.
