Job summary

Bayview Asset Management, LLC seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business objectives with technology solutions within the IT PMO. The role leads requirements gathering, process analysis, and delivery across multiple initiatives, mentoring junior analysts and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of BA or process engineering experience, direct work with executive stakeholders, and familiarity with agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5–8 years in Business Analysis, Process Engineering, or related field.
• Experience delivering complex cross-functional initiatives and working with executive stakeholders.
• Financial services, asset management, mortgage servicing, or capital markets experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and validation for complex initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, SMEs, technology teams, and vendors.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Build consensus across stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and risk reduction.
• Develop current- and future-state process flows.
• Evaluate solutions and provide recommendations.
• Support business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and prioritization.
• Lead analysis activities for medium to large-scale projects.
• Partner with project teams and business stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Support all phases of the SDLC from requirements through implementation.
• Identify and escalation risks, dependencies, and gaps.
• Present recommendations and project updates to leadership.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners.
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and solution reviews.
• Develop executive presentations, status reports, and decision documentation.
• Mentor and support Junior and Associate Business Analysts.
• Promote BA standards, templates, and best practices.
• Review requirements, process flows, and project documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO and BA practice.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Analyst serves as a lead analyst within the IT PMO, bridging business objectives and technology solutions across multiple initiatives. This role is responsible for independently leading requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design support, stakeholder management, and project delivery activities. This Senior Associate is expected to handle complex initiatives, mentor junior analysts, drive process improvements, and provide strategic recommendations that align technology investments with business goals.

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION

• This role will be hybrid in either our Coral Gables, FL, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Denver, CO or New York, NY office.
• The compensation offered for this role will be between $90,000 - $120,000, and will depend on experience and skillset.
• There is a performance based bonus available as well.
