Job summary

Bayview Asset Management is seeking an Analyst to join the Investor Services / Investor Operations team within Institutional Client Solutions. You will support day-to-day servicing for Bayview’s institutional investors and collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Compliance and Technology, as well as Fund Administrators.

The role provides broad exposure to the investor lifecycle and a pathway to deepen knowledge of alternative asset management, fund structures and investor operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Onboard and service investors, coordinating with AML/KYC, tax and regulatory docs.
• Track investor activity and maintain accurate internal records across systems.

ABOUT US:

Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Analyst will be a member of the Investor Services / Investor Operations team within Institutional Client Solutions and will support the day-to-day servicing and operational needs of Bayview’s institutional investors. The role will work closely with members of Institutional Client Solutions and teams across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Compliance and Technology, as well as Fund Administrators and other external service providers.

This role provides broad exposure to the investor lifecycle and is an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of alternative asset management, fund structures and investor operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor Onboarding & Servicing

• Support investor onboarding, including the review and coordination of subscription agreements, AML/KYC, tax and regulatory documentation.
• Capture and maintain investor, account and ownership information throughout the investor lifecycle.
• Respond to day-to-day investor servicing requests and coordinate with internal teams and Fund Administrators to resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain investor contacts, account information and related records across Salesforce and other relevant systems.

Capital Activity & Reporting

• Support subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, redemptions, transfers and investor elections.
• Track investor activity and maintain accurate internal records.
• Reconcile investor and capital-activity data against Fund Administrator and Accounting records and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Support the coordination of investor statements, capital reporting, estimates, audit confirmations and other recurring reporting.

Operational Due Diligence & Investor Requests

• Assist with Operational Due Diligence questionnaires, meetings, follow-up requests and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate information across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Technology and other internal teams.
• Respond to investor inquiries and elevate more complex questions to senior team members as appropriate.

Investor Portals & External Partners

• Support investor access to Fund Administrator portals and data rooms, including setup, permissions and ongoing maintenance.
• Work with Fund Administrators and other service providers on routine investor-related matters and deliverables.
• Assist with identifying and resolving outstanding operational items.

Process & Technology

• Assist with documenting and improving Investor Operations workflows and procedures.
• Support implementation and testing of new processes and technology.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring tasks and improve data quality.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of Bayview’s funds, investor terms and operational processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.

LOCATION and COMPENSATION:

• This role is based in Bayview’s New York, NY office.
• Base compensation is expected to be $80,000 - $100,000 with the opportunity for bonus compensation.
