Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager to lead Amazon Business strategy for our most strategic suppliers. You will own negotiations with manufacturers and distributors to secure commercial selections, pricing, and services while driving revenue and margin.

You will work closely with legal, finance, and business teams to coordinate complex agreements and go-to-market programs, and you will train stakeholders on growth levers and program fundamentals to scale the business.

Qualifications

  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Job description

The Sr. Business Development Manager leads Amazon Business strategy for our most strategic and important suppliers. About the team

The Amazon Business Category Business Development teams have a charter to grow the B2B business through improving core inputs. We do this in three ways: I) Drive direct engagement with our most strategic business relevant suppliers; II) Build tools, resources and systems that allow strategic Amazon Business programs to scale effectively across Category teams and suppliers; and III) improve the customer and supplier experience by acting as the voice of supplier, and informing Amazon Business product roadmap and Go-to-market strategy.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
