CBRE is seeking a Sr. Building Engineer to monitor complex building systems in a new manufacturing facility. You will manage asset inventory, preventive maintenance schedules, and life cycle analysis plans from ground up.
Strong BMS/BAS, Fire & Life Safety experience, and Universal EPA/CFC certification are required. The role involves leading a team, engaging vendors, and mentoring staff, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotation as needed.
As a CBRE Sr. Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring complex building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.
This individual will play a key role in the launch and ongoing success of a new manufacturing facility, including asset inventory and management, development of preventive maintenance schedules, and implementation of life cycle analysis plans.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS), Fire & Life Safety programs, vendor management, and mentoring or developing less experienced team members. Success in this role requires someone who is energized by the opportunity to help open a new facility and motivated by the unique challenges and opportunities that come with building operations from the ground up. Familiarity with IFM Hub is preferred, and a Universal HVAC certification is required.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation as needed. Final schedule details will be confirmed at the time of offer.
