Ocean Spray is hiring for a Sr. Brand Manager, Beverage Growth Channels! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. As a farmer-owned co-op, everyone contributes to our success, with roots dating back to three maverick farmers who started it all.

Position Location: We offer flexibility! This hybrid role is based at our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA, or our Seaport Boston, MA location, with Mondays & Fridays remote.

The Beverage Brand Marketing Team at Ocean Spray is passionate about building demand for the cranberry's simple, honest goodness, promoting vibrant, healthy lives for consumers and farmer families. We seek an energetic, curious marketer ready to deliver on our mission.

Role Overview: The Senior Brand Manager will lead Growth Channels for our Beverages business, developing and executing annual marketing plans that drive profitable growth. Responsibilities include managing strategic inputs to channel programs, innovation, customer promotions, trade, and P&L management. The role involves overseeing daily operations and collaborating with Associate Brand Managers to equip Sales with necessary tools and materials. Creativity, communication, and business acumen are essential.

A Day in the Life...

  • Develop annual marketing strategies to meet channel-specific growth objectives.
  • Coach and develop marketing personnel through supervision and feedback.
  • Create marketing programs tailored to specific channels and segments to generate demand.
  • Monitor competitive, channel, and customer activities; recommend strategic actions.
  • Drive strategies for new product launches and provide insights for the Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Lead the development of business updates, marketing plans, and sales materials.
  • Own and monitor channel forecasts as part of demand planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in product launches and initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and third-party support teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG brand management or marketing/strategic consultancy; channel marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to link strategies with objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems across functions.
  • Excellent presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with influence without authority.
  • Experience with business unit P&L is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or University Degree (Required), Master's Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
