The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer at UVM Health designs, develops, and maintains enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports.

This role sets data visualization standards across Enterprise Analytics and the wider UVM Health community, and trains analysts in dashboard development and governance of the BI environment. Responsibilities include ongoing health, maintenance, and archiving of Power BI, sunsetting unused dashboards, managing workspace governance, and coordinating upgrade remediation

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of BI development experience with advanced Power BI.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud data platforms for BI connectivity.
• Experience training end users or colleagues on Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Experience managing Power BI environment governance.
• Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.

Job Summary:

The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports at UVM Health. This role sets and disseminates data visualization standards across the Enterprise Analytics department and the broader UVM Health community, trains and supports analysts in dashboard development, and is responsible for the overall health, maintenance, and archiving of the Power BI environment — including sunsetting unused dashboards, managing workspace governance, and coordinating upgrade remediation.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field required.

Experience:

• 5+ years of BI development experience, with advanced Power BI expertise.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud data platforms for BI connectivity.
