UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking a Sr. BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports. You will set data visualization standards across Enterprise Analytics and support analysts in dashboard development.

You will oversee the Power BI environment’s health, governance, archiving, and upgrade remediation, while leveraging cloud BI connectivity and agile practices to deliver scalable solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in data-related field.
• 5+ years of BI development experience with advanced Power BI.
• Experience with enterprise Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Experience with cloud BI connectivity (Microsoft Fabric or similar).
• Experience training users on Power BI/Tableau or other tools.
• Experience managing Power BI governance.
• Experience with agile product delivery preferred.

Job Summary

The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports at UVM Health. This role sets and disseminates data visualization standards across the Enterprise Analytics department and the broader UVM Health community, trains and supports analysts in dashboard development, and is responsible for the overall health, maintenance, and archiving of the Power BI environment — including sunsetting unused dashboards, managing workspace governance, and coordinating upgrade remediation.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field required.

Experience

• 5+ years of BI development experience, with advanced Power BI expertise.


• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and semantic models.


• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud data platforms for BI connectivity.


• Experience training end users or colleagues on Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.


• Experience managing Power BI environment governance.


• Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
