Program manager for U.S. disability plan
Monitor, evaluate and project plans’ financial performance
Manage program vendor including performance against KPIs and resolution of service issues
Evaluate, project financial impact and negotiate annual contract renewal including fees, KPIs and associated fees at risk
Analyze current trends, recommend and project financial impact of plan design changes
Support HR Representatives and employee through the transition of STD claims to LTD, as needed
Negotiate and maintain current contracts
Ensure ongoing plan compliance including analysis and implementation of legislative changes and issuance of Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary Material Modifications and accuracy of annual Form 5500 (for 4 separate business units)
Ensure all DOL deadlines are met to protect the tax-protected status of the plans
Maintain and audit authorized PACCAR user system access as appropriate
Benchmarking, design and cost projection of leave programs
Manage Corporate Benefits email box; research and respond to questions from HR Representatives and employees
Review and approval of qualifying event benefits changes – follow established rules and procedures; research prior determinations to ensure compliant and consistent administration of plan
Complete annual ACA reporting
Serve as disability and leave programs subject matter expert for HR Representatives and employees
Resolve difficult and sometimes complex escalated problems
Develop and conduct training on benefits regulations, best practices and administrative procedures
Resolve HR Representative questions, on FMLA and other municipal leave programs with a high level of accuracy

To be successful in this role, you will need:
2-3 years of experience in a related role
Data analytics experience and strong knowledge of Excel
Current understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to benefit plan compliance
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent communications and relationship building skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage competing tasks
Ability to confidently present in front of groups
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when necessary
Ability to work independently with regular supervision
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access); PowerPoint and Excel skills must be demonstrated as part of the selection process
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
HRIS system experience required, SAP experience preferred.
CEBS, CBP, aPHR, SHRM-CP or similar designation preferred
MBA desirable
