Job Title: Sr. Azure Cloud Architect

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design cloud architecture and develop related processes in collaboration with other teams.
2. Ensure cloud designs adhere to standards, high availability, DR requirements, and compliance needs, effectively utilizing cloud resources.
3. Architect and implement Azure Landing Zone based on the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
4. Optimize compute, network, and storage connectivity methods.
5. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
6. Develop monitoring strategies.
7. Choose appropriate managed or unmanaged data stores.
8. Design network connectivity provisioning strategies.
9. Plan and implement business continuity strategies.
10. Implement infrastructure security measures, including network security groups (NSGs).
11. Evaluate Azure Active Directory and Business-to-Consumer requirements.
12. Assess Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
13. Establish a strong cloud foundation.
14. Assess needs for managed identities, service principals, OAuth 2.0 authentication, certificates, or other authentication methods.
15. Design database replication strategies for Cloud SQL databases.
16. Ensure security for data at rest and in transit.
17. Design relational and non-relational databases, focusing on data auditing, caching, and performance.
18. Collaborate with other architects on security, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 01, 2025.

The annual salary ranges from $99,782 to $186,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and company policies.
