Organization Overview

Lilly is constructing an advanced manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN, for API production—its largest investment in manufacturing capacity. This greenfield site offers a unique opportunity to be part of the startup team, helping to establish processes and facilities for GMP manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

1. Safety: Ensure safe design and operation of equipment, promote safety improvements, and reflect safety in automation design.
2. Automation/Control: Support and enhance site utilities automated systems, perform performance reviews, and design automation tools for utilities management.
3. System Support: Support daily operations, troubleshoot equipment, and improve system performance. Provide technical coaching and support project integrations impacting utilities infrastructure.
4. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on external trends and evaluate new technologies for application within Lilly.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years in automation machine control, process control, Utilities Automation, and Environmental Control Systems.
• Willing to work on shift rotations.

Additional Preferences

• Proven safety record.
• Expertise in automation platforms (preferably Delta-V and Rockwell Automation).
• Strong problem-solving skills in control systems, data, and integration.
• Experience with Solvent Recovery, Cryo-Condenser, Building Management Systems, Wastewater Management, Purified Water Generation, and GMP knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
