Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of automation, controls, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Studio 5000, RSLogix, ControlLogix and/or CompactLogix.
• Strong hands-on experience with FANUC Robotics programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation problems using a first-principles, systematic approach.
• Strong understanding of PLC logic, I/O, permissives, interlocks, safety circuits, and machine sequencing.
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics and control documentation.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including 24VDC–480AC systems.
• Experience troubleshooting servos, VFDs, motion-control systems, sensors, and industrial networks.
• Manufacturing experience in automotive, machining, welding, automated assembly, CNC, or material handling is highly preferred.
• Mitsubishi PLC/HMI and Toyota/Toyopuc experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Marion, AR.
• ASAP start preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support highly automated manufacturing operations.
• Identify root causes of complex equipment failures by following PLC logic and field signals.
• Systematically diagnose faults using I/O, permissives, safety circuits, drives/servos, and machine sequencing.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Automation & Controls Technician / Mechatronics Specialist to support highly automated manufacturing operations in Marion, Arkansas.

This role is ideal for a hands-on controls professional who can independently troubleshoot complex automation equipment and, most importantly, has strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming/troubleshooting and FANUC Robotics programming/troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will be able to go beyond basic component replacement and systematically identify the root cause of complex equipment failures by following PLC logic, I/O, permissives, safety circuits, field devices, drives/servos, and machine sequence.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of automation, controls, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
