Job summary

Xpand, a Linville Team Partners company, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their M&A team. This role will focus on business development and mandate oversight on our buy-side advisory team, acting as the face of Xpand to strategic buyers; originating, presenting, and negotiating opportunities.

This full-time position is based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina or Columbus, Ohio and requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple deals and teams in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, buy-side investment banking or private equity.
• Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated, and personable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Business development via phone calls, emails and text to business owners in key markets.
• Manage buy-side mandate relationships within 1-2 industries.
• Communicate with internal and external teams on their deal pipelines.
• Effectively manage and lead direct report(s).
• Review markets across the country utilizing various research tools.
• Execute and manage prospecting campaigns.
• Gather due diligence information from business owners.
