Job summary

Galloway & Company is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager (Healthcare) to lead design teams in Evansville, IN. The role requires 10+ years in architecture and a licensed Indiana architect or eligibility, with healthcare project experience and strong client leadership.

You will oversee design development, budgets, schedules, and client meetings, collaborating with local and regional staff to expand the portfolio and deliver high-quality healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Accredited (NAAB) Bachelor's and/or Master of Architecture.
• Licensed Architect in Indiana or eligible to become licensed in Indiana.
• 10+ years of architecture experience, including healthcare projects.
• Ability to cultivate client relationships and lead project opportunities.
• Strong design, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a project team across all design disciplines.
• Develop technical drawings and specifications with project teams.
• Establish design budgets and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Lead client meetings and presentations; cultivate client relationships.
• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
• Collaborate with Evansville-based team and regional leadership to grow the portfolio.
• Monitor construction progress and provide construction administration services.
• Ensure compliance with codes and industry standards.

Sr Architectural Project Manager (Healthcare)

Responsibilities

• While focusing on excellent design and document quality, you will supervise, direct, and properly sequence the activities of a project team, including all design disciplines and consultants during all project phases
• Participate in and develop technical drawings and specifications mark-ups for Project Architects, Draftspersons, and Graduate Architects to execute.
• Establish design budgets and schedules to meet deadlines
• Creatively contribute to the resolution of design or construction questions
• Direct the creation of presentation documents and lead client meetings
• Cultivate positive client relationships while working on their projects with a focus on client satisfaction
• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration with the support of internal team members in Evansville, IN and across the organization
• Work closely with the office leadership to expand the regional portfolio
• Observe construction progress and provide construction administration services
• Display knowledge of industry standards and an understanding of building codes, industry trends, building structures, and architectural advancements

Requirements

• This is an onsite position in our Evansville, IN Office.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience.
• Accredited (NAAB) Bachelor's degree in Architecture and/or Master of Architecture degree
• Licensed Architect in the state of Indiana or ability to be a registered Architect in the state of Indiana
• Ability to cultivate client relationships and project opportunities
• Confident and effective interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to develop project fees, manage project budgets, and review client/consultant invoices, agreements, and contracts
• Knowledge of local and healthcare code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction
• Ability to review and assure document accuracy for client(s), consultant(s) and project team(s)
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs, Adobe programs, and other communication-oriented software programs (Revit, AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required)
• Creative with a passion for great design
• Professional and positive attitude with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving
• Engagement in continual learning and self-improvement motivation and multi-tasking
• Work as part of a team without direct daily supervision
• Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED/WELL AP (desired, but not required)
• Willingness to learn new processes and explore new concepts
• An understanding that your opportunities are as limitless as your imagination
