Galloway & Company invites a Sr Architectural Project Manager (Healthcare) to lead design teams on complex healthcare projects from Evansville, IN. You will supervise the project lifecycle, coordinate architects, consultants, and contractors, and ensure top-quality documentation.

You’ll drive budgets, schedules, and design decisions while fostering client relationships and leadership development within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Architect in Indiana or able to become registered.
• At least 10 years of architecture experience.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare design.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project team across design disciplines and consultants through all phases.
• Prepare and review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Set design budgets and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Lead client meetings and develop presentation materials.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration from Evansville, IN.

Sr Architectural Project Manager (Healthcare)

Responsibilities

• While focusing on excellent design and document quality, you will supervise, direct, and properly sequence the activities of a project team, including all design disciplines and consultants during all project phases


• Participate in and develop technical drawings and specifications mark-ups for Project Architects, Draftspersons, and Graduate Architects to execute.


• Establish design budgets and schedules to meet deadlines


• Creatively contribute to the resolution of design or construction questions


• Direct the creation of presentation documents and lead client meetings


• Cultivate positive client relationships while working on their projects with a focus on client satisfaction


• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration with the support of internal team members in Evansville, IN and across the organization


• Work closely with the office leadership to expand the regional portfolio


• Observe construction progress and provide construction administration services


• Display knowledge of industry standards and an understanding of building codes, industry trends, building structures, and architectural advancements

Requirements

• This is an onsite position in our Evansville, IN Office.


• 10+ years of experience in architecture.


• 5+ years of healthcare experience.


• Accredited (NAAB) Bachelor's degree in Architecture and/or Master of Architecture degree


• Licensed Architect in the state of Indiana or ability to be a registered Architect in the state of Indiana


• Ability to cultivate client relationships and project opportunities


• Confident and effective interpersonal and time management skills


• Ability to develop project fees, manage project budgets, and review client/consultant invoices, agreements, and contracts


• Knowledge of local and healthcare code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction


• Ability to review and assure document accuracy for client(s), consultant(s) and project team(s)


• Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs, Adobe programs, and other communication-oriented software programs (Revit, AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required)


• Creative with a passion for great design


• Professional and positive attitude with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills


• Excellent problem-solving


• Engagement in continual learning and self-improvement motivation and multi-tasking


• Work as part of a team without direct daily supervision


• Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED/WELL AP (desired, but not required)


• Willingness to learn new processes and explore new concepts
