Regeneron Genetics Center is seeking a Sr Applications Developer to build tools and APIs for large-scale genetic data, spanning web apps to cloud-based services using TypeScript, Python, and AWS.
You will develop React UIs, collaborate with internal clients, and coordinate with DevOps to align with architecture guidelines and security best practices.
The Regeneron Genetics Center IT group seeks a Sr Applications Developer to support the breakthrough research being conducted in the Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC). You will build tools and APIs to interact with vast amounts of genetic data, creating solutions across the entire stack from web applications to cloud-based APIs and services using TypeScript, Python, and AWS services.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 2 years of relevant IT experience, including 6+ years of building applications out in the cloud and JavaScript development. Expert knowledge of web application and cloud‑based architecture patterns, including hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript, AWS services such as Lambda and RDS, MySQL/PostgreSQL. Level commensurate based on experience and qualifications.
