Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc (USA) seeks a Senior IT Technology Specialist to drive IT/OT risk management and security across industrial sites in Troy, NY. You will oversee incident management, regulatory compliance, and risk-mitigation strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Senior: 5 years of experience delivering IT/OT services.
  • Principal: 8 years of experience delivering IT/OT services.
  • Strong GxP experience and experience in highly regulated environments required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in IT/OT operations; advise management on critical issues.
  • Monitor endpoint security posture, respond to incidents, and coordinate remediation efforts; support network segmentation initiatives per IEC 62443.
  • Contribute to Enterprise Cyber Resiliency projects to improve detection, response, and recovery from cybersecurity incidents across IT/OT environments.
  • Provide oversight for major incidents, coordinating resolution and post-incident reviews with stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality of service with service providers and third-party teams; monitor SLAs against industry standards.
  • Guide full lifecycle of IT/OT solutions from initiation through transition; ensure successful delivery with internal and external teams.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews with documentation and risk management insights; monitor emerging risks.
  • Train team members on risk management protocols and promote continuous improvement in IT operations.

We are seeking a Senior IT Technology Specialist to join our IOPS IT team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and driving IT and OT solutions across our industrial sites. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in IT/OT risk management, security, and operational excellence — identifying and mitigating risks, overseeing incident management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards — while collaborating with cross-functional teams, service providers, and third-party partners. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

Location: Troy, New York, United States
Work model: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within IT and OT operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements; advise management and business owners on critical issues

  • Provide direction and oversight across the full lifecycle of IT/OT solutions from initiation through transition, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Support audits and compliance reviews with detailed documentation and insights into IT/OT risk management practices; monitor emerging risks and recommend proactive measures to safeguard systems
  • Train and guide team members on risk management protocols, fostering a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement across IT operations
Experience & Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field
  • Senior: 5 years of experience delivering IT/OT services
  • Principal: 8 years of experience delivering IT/OT services
  • Strong GxP experience and experience in highly regulated environments required
  • May consider equivalent combination of education and experience; level determined based on qualifications

Salary Range (annually) $77,600.00 - $148,400.00
