In this role, you will support The Seattle Times’ digital and AI transformation by strengthening internal application development and DevOps capabilities. On this team, you can expect to take charge of expanding in-house engineering capacity, improving delivery reliability, and enabling secure adoption of modern and AI driven technologies across newsroom and enterprise operations.
This remote position requires occasional in-office work as needed. Finalists must be current or future residents of the Puget Sound region to be considered.
While this role works normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), on-call hours are required for 24x7 support on a scheduled rotation.
The full salary range for this position is $99,200 to $140,000. We typically pay between $99,200 to $126,400, depending on experience and qualifications.
