Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Senior Mulesoft Anypoint Developer to join a financial services company in San Francisco, CA. This is a 15-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay is $78.00 - $98.00/hr on a W2 basis, with no PTO or benefits; ACA-compliant supplemental package available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must sit on PTP's W2 without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in design, development, and support of enterprise applications.
• Experience with API-led integrations and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs and integration technologies.
• Ability to mentor developers and participate in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain API-led integrations and microservices, applying SOA and API gateway best practices.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable designs, API specs, integration flows, and solutions.
• Perform full software lifecycle activities: coding, testing, debugging, deployment, QA, and production support.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in code reviews and development standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain API-led integrations and microservices, applying Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), API gateway, and integration best practices to connect internal and external applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable application designs, API specifications, integration flows, and technical solutions.
• Perform application development activities across the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, deployment, quality assurance, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, audit stakeholders, business partners, and other technical teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve integration challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and contribute to development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of the application/integration environment.

Few of the top skills required:

• MuleSoft
• A minimum of 5 years' experience programming, analysis, design, development implementation, quality assurance, and applications support.
• Practical experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and API Gateways, with at least one of the following technologies: 3Scale, MuleSoft, Apigee Edge, CA Technologies, Tibco Mashery, Axway, and IBM Gateway.
• Strong soft skills are non-negotiable as well.
